11 March 2014 - Moscow (Russia):

Olga Solovieva played a recital at Gnessins College. The piano pieces by Anatoly Lyadov and the vocal cycles by Nikolay Myaskovsky (with soprano Elena Isaeva) were performed.


September 2014:

New recording of Boris Tchaikovsky's Piano Quintet released by Naxos. The Quintet was recorded in Moscow in 2013 by The Vanbrugh Quartet and Olga Solovieva. The details are: http://www.naxos.com/catalogue/item.asp?item_code=8.573207

 


October 2014 (UK):

After the new CD issue by Naxos, Olga Solovieva visited Naxos department at  the UK, Select Music, invited by Mr. Peter Bromley, the Head of Production Department. 


5 December 2014 - Moscow (Russia):

The concert "Great Composers: Teachers and Pupils" took place at the Gnessins College.

Olga Solovieva played latest piano pieces by Anatoly Lydov, and also the vocal cycle "The Notebook of Lyrics" by Nikolay Myaskovsky (with soprano Tatiana Barsukova) and Sonata for Two Pianos by Boris Tchaikovsky (with Dmitry Korostelyov) were performed.

[Nikolay Myaskovsky was the pupil of Anatoly Lyadov at the St.Petersburg Conservatory, and later became the teacher for Boris Tchaikovsky at Moscow Conservatory.]
