December 7, 2019 - Elena Obraztsova Culture Center (St. Petersburg, Russia):

 

On December 7, 2019 the Olga Solovieva played the concert at Elena Obraztsova Culture Center. The Cello Sonatas by Sergey Rachmaninov and Yuri Kochurov were performed with the cellist Dmitrii Khrychev. Also the presentation of the 19th Century Cello Music CD took place.

 

7 декабря в Культурном Центре Е. Образцовой (г. С.-Петербург) состоялся концерт с участием Дмитрия Хрычёва (виолончель) и Ольги Соловьёвой (фортепиано). Прозвучали Сонаты для виолончели и фортепиано С.В. Рахманинова, Ю.В. Кочурова. Также состоялась презентация выпущенного летом компанией Naxos компакт-диска с русской музыкой 19-го века для виолончели, были исполнены пьесы А.С. Аренского из этого диска.


November 13, 2019 - Russian National Library Concert Hall (St. Petersburg, Russia):

 

On November 13, 2019 the lecture-concert "Lermontov in Music" took place at the Russian National Library Concert Hall. The romances by Nikolay Myaskovsky were performed by Elizaveta Pakhomova (soprano) with Olga Solovieva (piano).

 

13 ноября в Концертом зале РНБ состоялась лекция-концерт "Лермонтов в музыке". Романсы Н.Я. Мясковского были исполнены Елизаветой Пахомовой (сопрано) и Ольгой Соловьёвой.


November, 12, 2019:

The Vol. 1 of complete Alexey Stanchinsky's piano works was issued by Grand Piano label (GP766), recorded by Olga Solovieva.
This CD contains all Stanchinsky pieces composed up to 1910, including few World Premiere recordings.In October 2019 Olga Solovieva received the 1st Prize in solo nomination on Pure Sound Award (best audiorecordings of Russian music).


October 23, 2019 - Novaya Opera hall (Moscow, Russia):

 

On October 23, 2019 the final ceremony of "Pure Sound" Award.took place  at "Novaya Opera" hall in Moscow, and the Award winners were announced.

It was the 1st Award for best audio recordings of Russian classical (academic) music.

Olga Solovieva became three-times Winner of the 1st Prize:

  • Boris Tchaikovsky’s music for cello for the recordings with Haik Kazazyan and Christopher Marwood (CD issued by Naxos) - in chamber music nomination
  • Alexey Stanchinsky’s piano music (CD to be issued by Grand Piano) - in solo instrumental nomination
  • Nikolay Myaskovsky’s songs with baritone Ilya Kuzmin (to be issued next year) - in chamber-vocal nomination.

In addition, Olga also took 2nd place for Vissarion Shebalin’s violin&piano recordings with Sergey Kostylev (CD issued by Toccata Classics).

So, Olga took more awards than any other musician

October 6-8, 2019 - Smolensk, Logachyovo, Novospasskoe (Russia):

The events dedicated to Alexey Stanchinsky took part from 6 to 8 October, 2019 in Smolensk Region. On October 6 there was the concert at Smolensk Philharmony: Olga played the Esquisses by Alexey Stanchinsky, and two cello sonatas by Sergey Rachmaninov and Yuri Kochurov (with cellist Dmitrii Khrychev).

On October 7 Olga gave the master-class for young musicians at the Glinka Musical School in Smolensk.

On October 8 Olga participated at the ceremony of the stone opening in the place of Stanchinsky's house in Logachyovo, and played few Esquisses by Alexey Stanchinsky in the Glinka House-Museum in Novospasskoe.

September 18 - Gnessins College (Moscow, Russia):

On the 18th of September Olga Solovieva participated at the concert to the memory of Andrey Khitruk [1944-2019] (her piano teacher when she studied at the Gnessins College), where she performed the Esquisses by Alexey Stanchinsky.


August 16 - Nikolina Gora (Russia):

On 16th of August Olga Solovieva played a recital at the old country-side village Nikolina Gora (Moscow Region), famous for their summer-houses (dacha) where lived such great composers as Nikolay Miaskovsky, Sergey Prokofiev, Vissarion Shebalin. 

The concert programme included the songs Nikolay Myaskovsky (with soprano Elizaveta Pakhomova), and the piano pieces by Alexey Stanchinsky.


June 18, 2019 (Russia):

 

Olga Solovieva was awarded by the Russian public award "For the Contribution to the development to the Musical Art" and received the Glinka medal.

 

Ольга Соловьёва награждена общественной медалью имени М.И. Глинки "За вклад в развитие музыкального искусства". Эта медаль вручается за выдающиеся заслуги перед государством и обществом, высокий профессионализм, многолетнюю плодотворную деятельность на благо Отечества.


June 14, 2019:

The unique collection of Russian 19th Century music for cello and piano was issued by Naxos (8.573951), recorded by Olga Solovieva with the cellist Dmitrii Khrychev.
This CD includes two cycles of pieces by Anton Arensky and several World premiere recordings: Tchaikovsky’s own original version for cello and piano of the Variations on a Rococo Theme, Konstantin Liadov’s Fantasy on Gipsy Songs, Karl Davidov’s Fantasy on Russian Songs, and Rimsky-Korsakov’s original version for cello and piano of Serenade.

The CD  was called as the "Best Bargain" of the week by famous British critic David Mellor: "...For anyone who loves Russian romantic music as much as I do, this is quite a discovery" (David Mellor, ClassicFM)

 

The CD is the Winner (Silver medal - outstanding achievement) of the Global Music Awards ('duo' and 'album' nominations).


March 26, 2019 - Novospasskoe (Russia):

Olga Solovieva participated in the musical event "The Way of Beauty of Alexey Stanchinsky". It took place at the Glinka House-Museum (Glinka's birth place) at Novospasskoe (Smolensk Region).

 

Ольга Соловьева приняла участие в празднике "Путь красоты Алексея Станчинского" (Новоспасское, Смоленская область).
